Virgin Blue Announces Flights into Ayers Rock (Uluru)
Monday 8 March 2010: Virgin Blue has announced plans to launch flights to one of Australia’s most iconic and revered tourist destinations. From Monday 2 August, the airline will begin direct flights from Sydney to Ayers Rock (Uluru), providing some much needed competition on the route.

V Australia Offers Low Fares to Fiji - No Bula
V Australia will launch direct daily flights between Australia and Fiji in time for Christmas. The new, three-class V Australia flights will begin on 18 December 2009. Call for details.

V Australia & Delta Sign Code-share Agreement
V Australia and the world’s largest airline, US-based, Delta Air Lines, announced that members of each carrier’s frequent flyer programmes will enjoy reciprocal points accrual for travel with both airlines and reciprocal lounge access within Australia and the US.

Partnership with Etihad Airways
The Virgin Blue Group of Airlines and Etihad Airways announced a new commercial partnership that will enable Virgin Blue’s international arm, V Australia, to launch direct services to Abu Dhabi in 2011 and the two airlines to offer a joint network of more than 100 destinations from October 1, 2010.
