Adelaide’s leafy boulevards and elegant architecture will provide the perfect backdrop for your South Australia vacation. Explore at your leisure the wonderfully vibrant Rundle Mall for some retail therapy, or visit North Terrace, Adelaide’s cultural boulevard, or perhaps a visit to the South Australia Museum, Botanic Gardens or Wine Centre. On day two, depart with your guide for Australia’s most important wine region, and home to over 60 cellar doors – Barossa Valley. This picturesque valley is a short ride from Adelaide and is sprinkled with quaint towns and villages – a feast for the eyes and the palate. Your day will include visits to a variety of wineries, the big export-focused producers as well as the small artisan vignerons, so as to introduce you to a range of styles available in the the region. Taste local produce and learn of the history and culture of this historic region. Lunch at a delightful winery.

On Day three, board your flight to Kangaroo Island for a small group personalized experience with the most knowledgeable guides on the island. On tour, you will be one of only six guests to a guide, so your requests for photo stops and questions can be readily answered. Your guide will give you an introduction to island life, with unique wildlife, and a pristine habitat of bush, beach, and farming land. Learn about the history of the land and the diversity of the farming industry, as well as seek out kangaroos, koalas, seals and rare birds.
