ITINERARY

With this fantastic package you will not only see the iconic man made features of Sydney, but also the stunning natural beauty of the Blue Mountains and the Great Barrier Reef. In Sydney explore the fantastic shops and restaurants, and come face to face with the stunning array of fish while snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef.

Day 1 Arrive Sydney
You will be met and transferred to your hotel for the next 4 nights. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to explore this fascinating city. Overnight: Sydney, Travelodge Sydney or the Vibe Hotel Sydney for 4 nights

Day 2 Sydney City Sights and Harbor Cruise
Today you will have an opportunity to familiarize yourself with Sydney on a city sights tour. Your half day tour will take in the icons such as the Sydney Opera House, Harbor Bridge and Mrs Macquarie’s chair. Your tour will end with a fantastic lunch cruise on Sydney’s majestic harbor, a must do for any visitor. (B, L)

Day 3 Blue Mountains High Country Luxury 4WD Tour
Today travel with a small group of like minded travellers to the stunning Blue Mountains. You will visit ancient Aboriginal sights and breathtaking lookouts. A delicious barbecue lunch with Australian wines and cheeses is included, and also provides a great opportunity to spot curious kangaroos. Leaving the Blue Mountains you will have an opportunity to explore the site of the 2000 Olympic Games before returning to your hotel. (B, L)

Day 4 At Leisure
Take time to relax and enjoy Sydney. Maybe do some shopping, or have a drink in one of the great pubs of The Rocks. Or for the more adventurous you may wish to experience the thrill of The Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb. (B)

Day 5 Sydney to Cairns
Day is at leisure until your transfer from your hotel to meet your flight to Cairns. On arrival you will be met transferred to your Cairns hotel, remainder of day is at leisure. Overnight: Cairns, Mercure Harbourside or The Lakes Resort for 4 nights (B)

Day 6 Great Barrier Reef Cruise
This morning get ready to experience one of the great natural wonders on earth, the Great Barrier Reef. You will enjoy a range of activities on the purpose built pontoon, including snorkelling, semi submersible rides and underwater viewing areas. Other activities such as scenic helicopter flights and scuba diving are available at an additional cost. (B,L)

Day 7 Kuranda, Skyrail, Tjapukai
Travel through tunnels and gorges on one of the world’s great rail trips to Kuranda, the village in the rainforest. You will have time to explore the village before riding the Skyrail over the rainforest canopy to the world renowned Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, where a range of interactive and interesting displays are shown and a buffet lunch is included (B, L)

Day 8 Cairns at Leisure
Today relax and enjoy lovely Tropical North Queensland. You may choose to experience the luscious Cape Tribulation rainforest, or just enjoy the tropical sunshine. (B)

Day 9 Depart Cairns
Day is at leisure till your transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
