DAY 1 Hawk Dreaming
Depart Darwin at 7.00am and travel to Kakadu National Park. Visit the Bowali Visitor Center, where the displays will introduce you to the many different ecosystems of the region. See Ubirr Rock, where your guide will interpret some of the meanings behind the ancient Aboriginal rock art. Travel to the exclusive camp at Hawk Dreaming. After lunch explore the land of the Bunitj people. Intimate rock art sites can be explored without fences or crowds. Sit and learn in outdoor classrooms, just like the Aborigines have done for thousands of years.
