Twilight Wildlife Discovery Eco-tour

Travel in the afternoon with your guide in a comfortable 4WD as you search out the animals of the night. Pass through historic Docklands area before making your way westward along the shoreline of the Derwent River. You will travel through the Hop- fields and visit a wildlife park where you will come face-to-face with Australia’s unique koalas, wombats, wallabies and kangaroos. You will make a stop at Lake Fenton and the magnificent Russell Falls. Here you will seek the elusive platypus swimming in the wild upper reaches of the Derwent River (conditions permitting).  Departs daily at 2pm from Hobart.  Duration 8 hours.  Includes Hotel transfers, all park entries, refreshments, twilight buffet dinner, luxury small group touring vehicle.
